Tim is a mental health clinician who earned a Bachelor's degree from Amherst College and Master's degrees from Oxford University & Boston University School of Medicine. He began his career in finance before becoming a therapist, & he has worked at the Boston VA amongst other leading Boston-area settings. Tim specializes in supporting adults, couples, and teens navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, men’s issues and burnout. His approach is warm, collaborative, and practical, helping clients better understand themselves, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Tim takes a strength-based approach that combines evidence-based therapies with genuine human connection. He integrates techniques from CBT, DBT, ACT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, and other proven approaches to help clients challenge unhelpful patterns, build resilience, improve communication, and move toward their goals.
Clients say that Tim’s sense of humor, compassion, & diverse career and life experiences help him to build strong rapport and supportive therapeutic alliances. Outside of his practice he enjoys family time with his partner and two young children, reading, watching sports and playing the guitar.
